Smoke healthy with electronic cigarettes\n
What is electronic cigarette and how it works?
An electronic cigarette, also known as an e-cigarette, personal vaporizer or PV, is an electronic inhaler that vaporizes a liquid solution into an aerosol mist, simulating the act of tobacco smoking. Electronic cigarettes are no longer marketed as smoking cessationaids or tobacco replacement in most countries. There may be similarities between conventional and some electronic cigarettes in the physical design and the nicotine release, which may approximate the same amount of nicotine as a conventional cigarette. There are also many electronic cigarettes which do not resemble conventional cigarettes at all. The amount of nicotine contained can also be chosen by the user, with some people choosing no nicotine at all.
Electronic cigarette - is totally different from traditional cigarettes:
It does not generate ash, does not burn, and does not include the 4,000 toxins and carbon monoxide wich can be found in traditional cigarettes. Appearance of "smoke" is actually generated by the vaporization of electronic cigarette's liquid, and therefore is not harmful to others (it eliminate the risks posed by passive smoking). Electronic Cigarette can be used in public places where smoking is normally prohibited.
Electronic Cigarette is composed of the following elements :
Most portable power units contain a lithium-ion rechargeable battery and makes the largest component of an electronic cigarette. This may contain an electronic airflow sensor so that activation is triggered simply by drawing breath through the device. Other models come with a power switch, which must be held during operation. A LED to announce activation may also be equipped in the front of power unit casing.\n
Batteries are usually charged via AC outlet, car or USB. Some manufacturers also offer a cigarette-pack-like portable charging case (PCC), which contains a larger battery to charge smaller batteries of individual e-cigarettes.\n
The atomizer contains a small heating coil that vaporizes the liquid, and generally consists of a simple filament and wicking metal mesh or silica wick to draw the liquid in. It is positioned in the center of the three components that make up the entire electronic cigarette cylinder, as the cartridge attaches to one end, and the power unit to the other. The atomizer's filament will lose efficiency over time due to a buildup of sediment, or "burns out" entirely, requiring replacement. In some models, the cartridge and atomizer component are integrated, known as a cartomizer.
The cartridge, a small plastic container with openings on each end, serves as both a liquid reservoir and mouthpiece. It allows the passage of liquid to the atomizer and vapor from the atomizer back to the user's mouth, without leaking liquid into the mouth.\n
Most models adopt a plastic sponge to keep the liquid in place, but it is also common to use a refillable tank to hold the liquid, with a separate tunnel connecting to the atomizer. When the liquid is depleted, users can refill it or replace with another pre-filled cartridge. Some users forgo the use of liquid reservoirs and drip liquid directly onto the atomizer in a method known as "dripping".\n
A single cartridge can be the equivalent of 40 cigarettes.\n
Liquid for producing vapor in electronic cigarettes, known as e-juice or e-liquid, is a solution of propylene glycol (PG) and/or vegetable glycerin (VG) and/orpolyethylene glycol 400 (PEG400) mixed with concentrated flavors, and optionally, a variable percent of a liquid nicotine concentrate.\n
They are often sold in a bottle or as pre-filled disposable cartridges. Many manufacturers offer dozens of flavors which resemble the taste of regular tobacco, menthol, vanilla, coffee, cola and various fruits, but nicotine concentrations vary by manufacturers. The standard notation "mg/ml" is often used in labeling, sometimes shortened to a simple "mg". Nicotine-free solutions are also common.\n
Some electronic cigarette users opt to make their own e-juice in a form known as "DIY".\n
Every time you inhale from the electronic cigarette, a pressure sensor activates the battery that powers the atomizer (evaporator) and heat it Under the generated heat liquid evaporates, thus giving the sensation of smoking. Electronic cigarette satisfy nicotine and gestion addiction users. The advantage is that it is harmless both for users and for others (if using liquid without nicotine).
Before using the electronic cigarette, replace original patron from factory , with one of the reserve box! It has decorative (liquid contains no nicotine)role because you risk to damage the atomizer by using dry atomizer bottles.

Care and maintenance of electronic cigarette
Life of a cartridge:
This will depend on what type of smoker you are. Manufacturers claim that a cartridge is equivalent to 15 cigarettes. Cartridges can be recharged approx. 20 times (ie 6-7 days for a normal smoker). After this period the cartridge wool tends to fill with dirt and reduces it's size. When this happens the liquid transfer process from catridge to the atomizer is compromised and general yield of electronic cigarette is not ideal. Aging of the cartridge can be observed through the inconsistent and dry vapor . At this point it is advisable to replace the cartridge with a new one.
If after a period the cigarette does not produces enought smoke:
1. Atomizer should be cleaned every two weeks (approximately) or when you notice that the electronic cigarette is not working properly. Unscrew the batteryand remove the patron from the atomizer. Take the atomizer and blow in it through the part where the battery is screwed , until the residual liquid in atomizer begin to drain .(this liquid is darker than normal liquid)
2. If the cleaning did not fix the problem, try to pour a drop of e-liquid in atomizer hole found in the part where the battery is screwed. This drop should reach within atomizer - it will dampen inside elements, which then heated should work properly again.
3. Another way to clean and maintain atomizer is to leave it on a sheet of paper upright a night. You will notice the next day the burned e-liquid from atomizer has leaked (residual).
Before you go bed (or when you are not using the electronic cigarette for a longer period of time) disconnect the battery from the sprayer because it consumes energy overnight.
Electronic Cigarette common Problems
Battery problems :\n
For all problems listed above you should replace the battery with a new one . Make sure first that your charger is working properly .\n
Note : All batteries will eventually become defective and non-functional after a designated number of charges. Standard lithium ion batteries are only functional from the first use up to 300 charges. It is recommended to replace batteries after the indicated maximum number of usage.\n
Check first the e-liquid inside the atomizer. Most times, atomizer overheat because it's center is dry. Place two to three drops of e-liquid in the center to cool it down and to produce vapors .\n
Not enough vapors\n
If your atomizer remains cold and does not produce any vapor, check the inside of the atomizer. You will find that you have overfilled the atomizer. In this case, all you need to do is lessen the amount of the e-liquid inside. Gently blow through the battery connector to release the excess e-liquid from the atomizer.\n
No vapors at all\n
If your battery is working properly, but the e-cigarette is still unable to produce vapor you may need to replace the atomizer . The atomizer eventually burns out after some time and it will need to be replaced right away. There are also instances when all that you need to do is check the connection between the battery and atomizer. If they are not properly connected, the device will not work and it won't produce vapor. If you are still unable to properly attach the two components together, you may need to ditch the entire device and purchase a new one instead.\n
Plastic burnt taste when inhaling\n
If you feel burnt taste when you take a puff , you probably need to replace the electronic cigarette , because it is a sign that you used it for a long period of time .
When you smoke from electronic cigarette is recommended to keep the cigarette leaned down, approx. 30 degrees for the liquid to reach easier to atomizer.
How often should I charge the battery?
When you receive your electronic cigarette batteries can be partially charged, so you need only charge them for several hours (2-3 hours), not as in some textbooks 8h. Electronic cigarette batteries can lose significant capacity or even worse, if are left too long to recharge.
